I don't know when or where this video comes from but it's pretty cool. Sir Elton John seems to be in his 'Lion King' phase, which would put it about the mid-90s. What interests me, besides the fact that the pop singer can put a melody to anything, is who is in the audience. Is that the 'Prince of Darkness?'

Well we hit a nerve. I guess everyone is thinking about summer and road trips because the phones lit up and wouldn't stop all afternoon. Without further ado, here's are five of your favorite songs to hit the road with.

My mind is taking me to summer. It's been doing that a lot lately because it's so blessed cold. I close my eyes and automatically I'm jumping in my truck and ready to hit the road because it's the weekend and I don't have to work the next day and the sun is out and it's really hot and I've got my buds and a pretty lady and - well, you get the idea.

Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor will be rocking on July 5th when 'The Soundtrack of the Summer Tour' rolls through. As part of the Machias Savings Bank Concert Series, Styx, Foreigner former Eagles guitarist Don Felder will be raising the volume of central Maine's largest city. Styx is coming to Darling's Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor on July 5th, along with Foreigner and former Eagles guitarist Don Felder. I thought it would be fun to find out what you think the best songs from each band are, starting with Tommy Shaw and the boys.

On today's show we brought ourselves back to junior high/high school and asked what the closing song of every one of your high school dances was. Here are some of your answers.

You know, the high school dance, where the boys are on one side and the girls are on the other. Or maybe that's junior high, or a combination of both. Either way, there was one song that always signaled the end of the night when the custodians started getting out their brooms and the chaperones began getting antsy.

With the holidays approaching I thought I'd tackle one of the many 'traditions-related' questions that I get now and then.  Turn on the radio or tune into television for 10 minutes and I'm sure you'll hear your fair share of holiday music.  Today's question is 'What's Your Favorite Christmas Song?'
