The Great 'State' of Aroostook?
Remember when there was a teenie-tiny chance that Aroostook County could become it's own state, separate from Maine? Yeah, I didn't think so. But it's true, there was legislation back in 2005 that would have allowed Aroostook to become the 51st state of the Union.
