SCARBOROUGH, Maine (AP) — Police are honoring a day care teacher in Maine who potentially saved the lives of 25 children when a bus driver suffered a heart attack.
A 31-year-old Scarborough man was sentenced Wednesday to 33 months in prison and three years of supervised release for possession of a firearm by a person subject to a protection order.
Scarborough's school board voted unanimously on new rules to allow transgender students to use locker rooms and bathrooms that match their gender identity.
