You might want to forget about that week-long sunny vacation in New England this summer as the Farmers' Almanac is predicting tons of rain and oppressive humidity

Some severe weather is approaching Aroostook County once again, this time in the form of some severe thunderstorms.

It's safe to say that the Spring thaw is on in most parts of Maine and New Brunswick with temperatures expected to be in the mid 40s Fahrenheit or right around 6C to finish out the week. According to Environment Canada, some rain fall is expected for much of New Brunswick over the next couple of days, with some areas being hit harder than others; especially parts in southern New Brunswick. Get ready, more winter weather is headed our way!

If you're planning to be out on the roadways on Wednesday, you might want to think again; a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for much of Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick.

Some nasty and potentials dangerous weather is headed our way today.

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued an extended forecast through the end of this week that calls for up to 5-6 inches of rain for parts of central and northern Maine.

Maybe it’s just me but this summer seems to have been a wash, literally.  We’ve had a few beautiful days but it’s been wetter than usual.  I’m not complaining because our weather situation could be a lot worse.
