A Presque Isle teen was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after experiencing breaking problems with his automobile and crashing into a private residence.

According to Det. Chris Beck of the Presque Isle Police Department, Michael Brown is on the loose and they are warning the public that he is "armed and dangerous."

One of the many great things about living in Aroostook County is that people look out for one another and do their best to help out if people are in need.

There were a few tense moments for children on their way to school in Presque Isle on Wednesday morning, after a car crashed in to the back of a school bus.

People of Aroostook County tend to come together in a time of need, and they sure did!  The Presque Isle Police Department had asked for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection with an assault case. We just got word that he's been captured!

The Presque Isle Police Department is once again asking for the public's help, but not in the way you might think. They're not looking for help in apprehending a fugitive. They're simply asking for your help in voting for your favorite design of shoulder patch.

It looks as though the Presque Isle Police Department has recently tripped over a box filled with old police reports which they've decided to post on their Facebook page.

**UPDATE**  The Presque Isle Police Department reports the suspect was arrested by Fort Fairfield police on Saturday evening. He was transported to the Caribou Police Department for holding until he can go before a judge on Monday.

Two men managed to escape an auto accident on Main Street in Presque Isle on Tuesday afternoon, relatively unscathed.
