Presque Isle Elks

The Presque Isle Elks Hoop Shoot foul shooting contest for kids from 8-13 years old was recently held at the Wieden Hall gym of the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

It was another successful Family Christmas dinner this year at the Presque Isle Elks, Lodge #1954.

To anyone who would otherwise be spending Christmas alone, The Presque Isle Elks Lodge invites you to attend the Presque Isle Elks Family Christmas Dinner.

A free Thanksgiving-style dinner will be served, free of charge, to all area military Veterans, current military personnel, and their families at the former Slopes restaurant building.

Winners have been announced in the Presque Isle Elks' annual "Soccer Shoot."

The Presque Isle Elks will once again host its annual Independence Day Community Celebration at Riverside Park.

The Presque Isle Elks, Lodge #1954, will be hosting, for the eighteenth consecutive year, the Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs Youth Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 2.

On Friday, October 27, over forty Maine World War II Veterans, together with an individual to accompany each, referred to as the “Guardian” for each Veteran, will leave the Portland Jetport destined for the Washington, D.C. area.

The Presque Isle Elks will sponsor a Junior Bowling League for youth, ages 6 to 15, on Saturdays, from 10 am to noon during the months of October through March at the Northern Lanes Bowling Alley, 510 Main Street in Presque Isle.
