Following on the heels of storm surrounding the Thanksgiving holiday that brought up to a foot of snow to some parts of the state, Emera Maine is gearing up for another winter event.
Fault indicators emit a bright, flashing light for up to 16 hours and help crews to quickly identify which specific part of the power line needs to be repaired.
As winds pick up Thursday, scattered outages have been reported in northern and eastern Maine, particularly in Aroostook and Hancock counties.
