Seven weeks after closing the Stadium Tour, the guitarist announced he was retiring from the road.

For the first time in over 40 years, the band will have a new guitarist.

"Mick will continue as a member of the band, but can no longer handle the rigors of the road."

That was fast.

That makes it the most successful tour of either band's career.

Bassist says that Stadium Tour will see "another 120 [shows] next year and the year after that."

A Vegas residency, overseas tours and another North American run are among the band's plans.
