Maine Arts Commission

Wintergreen Arts Center recently received a $2,800.00 Organizational Development grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Maine Arts Commission will conclude its Maine Arts Iditarod, a statewide information and listening tour, with a community meeting at the Wintergreen Arts Center on Tuesday, February 21, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm,.  This meeting is free and open to the public.

This week, the Maine Arts Commission has launched its 2017 Arts Iditarod, a long (and undoubtedly snowy) information and listening tour from York to Winter Harbor to Presque Isle.

Adult learners aged 55 and up will have a unique opportunity to learn about expressive drawing this spring thanks to a $1,600 matching grant from the Maine Arts Commission and the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
