Here's what happened

A Gardiner man and woman are dead after allegedly being murdered at their home this morning. Law enforcement officers are investigating.

The 8th annual Swine & Stein Oktoberfest will be in downtown Gardiner this Saturday from 11:30 to 6:30.

This annual event has grown in popularity over it's short history in central Maine, the 7th Annual Swine & Stein Oktoberfest in Gardiner is this Saturday from 11:30 until 6:30.

Maine Water Tours, Inc. is considering a local river transportation and cruise service that may include a water shuttle between Gardiner, Hallowell and Augusta, sunset and happy hour cruises, other scenic cruises and private charters.

State Police have charged a Gardiner man with stealing construction equipment from his employer and then selling the item to purchase drugs.
