Red Sox rookie Michael Chavis singled to center in the 10th inning giving the Boston Red Sox a 6-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday, May 15th, giving the Red Sox a 1-1 split of the 2 game series.

Eduardo Rodriguez went 6.0 innings allowing 9 hits and striking out 10. He allowed 5 runs, although that's a bit deceiving as he left with the bases loaded in the 6th inning, and Matt Barnes allowed all 3 inherited runs to score.

Marcus Walden pitched 2.1 innings, striking out 4. He has a 0.54 ERA in 10 appearances beginning on April 20th

JD Martinez was 2-4 with a homer, and drove in 3 runs. Martinez has now homered in each of his last 3 games and has 5 homers in his last 7 games.

Mookie Betts was 3-5 with a double and RBI. The double in the 9th inning was his 200th career double. He's now the 5th Red Sox player with 200 doubles within their 1st 6 major league season. He joins Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski, Wade Boggs and Dustin Pedroia.
