Red Sox Roll Over Rockies 10-6 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox clubbed 3 homers in the thin air in Colorado, including Jackie Bradley's 478 foot homer, the longest homer in Red Sox history since Statcast began tracking them in 2015. The Red Sox beat the Colorado Rockies 10-6

JBJ's 17th homer came in the 2nd inning. Christian Vazquez hit a 2-run shot in the 4th inning and Xander Bogaerts hit his 28th of the season, a solo shot in the 5th inning.

Brock Holt finished the night 3-4. Bogaerts added a double, his 45th and JD Martinez also had 2 hits.

Rick Porcello went 5 innings scattering 8 hits and allowing 2 runs. He struck out 5 and didn't walk a batter. Darwinzon Hernandez pitched a scoreless 6th inning and Ryan Brasier pitched a scoreless 7th. Josh Smith allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, 2 of them homers in 1.1 inning, before Josh Taylor got the final 2 outs of the game.

The Red Sox are now 71-62 and 6 games out of the final wild card spot. They will take on the Colorado Rockies Wednesday night in the final game of the 2 game series.
