
Prices at the Pump still on the Rise
Gas prices around New England are still creeping upward.
According to GasBuddy.com's latest survey, the price at the pump here in Maine rose 1.9 cents to an average $2.56 a gallon. That's almost 20 cents cheaper than the average price of $2.75 in Presque Isle.
New Hampshire saw an increase of 2.3 cents to an average price of $2.49 a gallon. And in Vermont, regular rose 1.3 cents, averaging $2.60 a gallon
The national average price remained flat from the previous week at $2.53 a gallon. Last month it was 8.8 cents cheaper than now, but is 22.7 cents a gallon higher than a year ago at this time.
