A 13-year-old boy from Moncton, N.B., who was reported missing on January 8, has been located safe and sound. The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a 13-year-old Moncton boy who has been reported missing.

Brandon Pellerin was last seen at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at a residence on Donovan Terrace in Moncton.

Pellerin is about 5'6'' and weighs about 130 lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes, according  to Staff Sgt. Eric Larose.  He was wearing a burgundy sweater, black pants, and tan hiking boots. He had a black back pack and was not wearing a winter jacket.

Police say they are concerned for the boy’s well-being, particularly given the cold temperatures.
