Rock and Roll is a fickle business.  Back in the day, record labels used to chew up new bands and spit them out into the public.  Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t.  Other times, a band that was just as good, if not better than any of the other bands of its day didn’t get a fair shot because the record label didn’t believe in them enough to sell them to an audience.  This is one of those bands.

Riverdogs started as a project that Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell was going to produce.  He liked the band so much, he joined.  Listen to one of their obscure classics below.

From time to time I’m going to feature a band that you should have known about back then, and it’s not too late to enjoy their music now.  Suggestions?  Let me know on Facebook.
