Holiday season in Maine is something special. Maybe it’s the snow, the cold air, or the fact that we even decorate our lighthouses like we’re all auditioning for a Hallmark movie.

This one Maine lighthouse is sparkling like the North Pole’s cousin baby. Which one?

The Nubble Lighthouse is going to be lighting up New England and the world for that matter on November 29th  2025, on stay on until February 1st, according to The Town of York, Parks and Recreation.

This illumination is a must-see if you find yourself in Maine or have lived here and never witnessed the magic.

This is the perfect excuse to grab the family for a celebration that you’ll never forget. Simply imagine the most epic Maine night light, but as a massive lighthouse.

Check out this whimsical YouTube video highlighting the illumination of this lighthouse.

You can also attend the event, Lighting of The Nubble at the View Point Hotel. The event will offer pictures with Santa Clause, a raffle, and food and drink to keep you cozy all night.

You can grab tickets here!

But the real magic truly starts when the lighthouse stays lit every single night through New Years Day. This will be a pure, wholesome holiday glow, every night.

An important change to note: the lighthouse will still shine bright but events are no longer held at Sohier Park because of safety concern, as per York Parks and Rec.

Too many heavy crowds and parking issues. But, the Ramsey Family of Anchorage Inn is saving the day to host festivities at 265 Long Beach Ave

So whether this is already a yearly tradition or you are making it one, the Nubble Lighthouse is surely a holiday spectacle like no other.

This lighthouse will never lose it’s charm and will always deliver the sparkly magic you enjoy.
