State Police were called to crash on the Station Road just before 11 a.m. Trooper Jared Sylvia’s investigation found that Abigail Domaldo of New Limerick was traveling north in her 2008 Ford Explorer when she lost control due to the slippery road conditions.

Domaldo's SUV left the roadway, spun 180 degrees and rolled over into the ditch. It came to rest partially on the roof and driver’s door, trapping Domaldo in the vehicle. Sgt. Josh Haines said the woman was wearing her seat belt and sustained minor injuries, and was not transported to the hospital.

Houlton Fire and Ambulance also responded to the scene. The vehicle sustained significant damage and was towed from the scene.

State Police investigated numerous other crashes around Aroostook County Friday due to the winter storm.
