Beer in hand, Pats jersey on, and this SNL skit on repeat — it must be Week 1.

It is always funny when SNL pokes fun at New England!

Last fall, comedian Bill Burr hosted the first Saturday Night Live episode after the November 2024 election.

After a long, stressful, never ending campaign, everyone was ready for a good laugh.

During a "commercial" for Buffalo Wild Wings, that claims it is NFL headquarters, Burr plays an angry, swearing Pats fans, with a thick Boston accent.

This makes sense, because Burr is a native of Canton, Massachusetts, so he pulls off the dialect pretty easily.

Also, it's much easier to laugh at this, since things are looking a little brighter for Pats fans this season.

Drake Maye, seems poised to take the next step, with the addition of new head coach, Mike Vrabel, they are set to kickoff the 2025-2026 season, this Sunday afternoon, against the Las Vegas Raiders.

It’s always cool when Bangor, or for that matter, anyplace in New England gets mentioned in a movie or television show.

One of my favorite fake SNL commercials ever, is this 2016 Dunkin Donuts Christmas commercial, with Casey Affleck doing his Southie Boston accent that he perfected years ago in "Good Will Hunting"

This skit is from 2012 when actor Jamie Foxx hosted. It is about a reality show set in a Bangor courtroom and it's called “Maine Justice” It really doesn’t make much sense, considering the judge played by Jason Sudeikis, seems to have a Southern accent that either sounds like Colonel Sanders or Matlock.

The first thing you will notice in the video is the WLBZ Channel 2 logo, and a shot of Downtown Bangor and the Penobscot River.
