We're pretty lucky here in the state of Maine that all we really have to deal with is cold, ice, power outages, and other survivable events. Our hearts go out to those in 'tornado alley,' especially in Pilger, Nebraska where two twisters touched down simultaneously yesterday.

The Nebraska Emergency Management Agency requested the Nebraska State Patrol to do a helicopter flyover to survey the damage. The entire town was virtually demolished. Check out the footage below.

 

So far at least two deaths have been reported, including that of a 5 year old girl.
