Isaiah Thomas hit a jumper with 2.4 seconds left to give the Boston Celtics a big win in Atlanta Friday night, 103-101.

The game marked the return of Al Horford to the place he called home for nine seasons. He left the Hawks and signed a free agent deal with the C's over the summer. Horford scored 10 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Kelly Olynyk scored a season high 26 points, including 4-for-5 shooting 3's.

The Celtics hit another 17 3-point shots.

But down the stretch, it was Thomas making the biggest difference. He scored 28 points, 13 of them in the fourth quarter. He actually waved off coach Brad Stevens' attempt to cal a timeout in the final seconds to take the game winning jumper.

Paul Milsap led Atlanta with 23 points.

The Celts climb to 10 games over .500 at 25-15 with a game vs Steve Clifford's Charlotte Hornets Monday night. You can hear that game on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket.
