The #3 seeded Medomak Valley Panthers are headed to the northern Maine regional finals on Friday after defeating Brewer, 48-31, Wednesday night at the Augusta Civic Center.

The Panthers controlled the tempo throughout the night, limiting the Witches to 11 points in the first half, and after Brewer rallied to make it 29-22 after three quarters, Medomak Valley outscored the Witches, 19-9, in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Medomak Valley was led by Nick DePatsy, who scored a game-high 15 points, and Cameron Allaire, who added 11.

Kobe Rogerson nailed four 3-pointers and finished the game with 14 points for Brewer, while Matt Pushard and Carter Smith were held to a combined 12 points by a strong Medomak Valley defense.

Brewer's season comes to an end with a record of 15-5, while Medomak Valley marches on after picking up their 17th win on the year.
