A New Brunswick man was arrested for one count of mischief and one count of breach of an undertaking, said the RCMP.

The vandalism includes a cut internet cable at a Laurentide Street residence on April 25th. Two more cables were cut at local businesses on April 28th. Damages to the Richibucto water system pump house also happened on April 28th - and was damaged again after repairs, said the RCMP

Charged with one count of mischief is thirty-three-year-old Mathieu Robichaud. He was in court Monday and will stay in custody until another court appearance. He was also charged with and one count of breach of an undertaking.

Mathieu Robichaud of Richibucto was charged with one count of mischief and one count of breach of an undertaking, not what was previously posted.

On April 25, a house on Laurentide Street had its internet cable cut. During the evening of April 27 into the early morning of April 28, two local businesses had exterior cables cut. The same night, the Richibucto water system pump house was also damaged. The pump house was repaired on April 28, but was damaged again that same night.

Thirty-three-year-old Mathieu Robichaud of Richibucto appeared in court on May 1 and was charged with one count of mischief and one count of breach of an undertaking. He was remanded in custody pending a later court appearance.
