Troop F of the Maine State Police responded to 123 calls for service in and around Aroostook County this past week. Here are the incidents included in their weekly report:

Incident Type: DRE ACTIVITY Date: 7/23/2018 Town: CARIBOU Trooper: TR. DESROSIER Brief Synopsis: Trooper Desrosier responded to Caribou PD after they requested him as a DRE. The PD had arrested a woman they suspected was impaired on drugs. Tr. Desrosier conducted his evaluation of the woman which resulted in her being arrested by Caribou PD for OUI Drugs.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 7/25/2018 Town: MARS HILL Trooper: TR. KILCOLLINS Brief Synopsis: Trooper Kilcollins had been trying to arrest a man he knew had an active arrest warrant but could not locate him. While driving through Mars Hill, Tr. Kilcollins saw the man walking. He pulled his cruiser over and confronted the man who first lied about his identity but Tr. Kilcollins knew who he was. The man was arrested on the warrant and taken to the Aroostook County Jail.

Date: 7/26/2018 Town: EASTON Trooper: TR. PESCITELLI Brief Synopsis: Sgt Clark was off duty and called in seeing 2 males that had broken down in Easton. Sgt Clark knew both men and knew both men were suspended. Tr Pescitelli responded and located the men and summonsed one of the males for OAS.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 7/27/2018 Town: HOULTON Trooper: TR. BELL Brief Synopsis: Trooper Bell observed a male operate a motor vehicle in Houlton. Tr Bell was familiar with the male and knew that he was suspended. Tr Bell stopped the male and summonsed him for OAS, for failing to pay fines.

Incident Type: CRIMINAL MISCHIEF Date: 7/27/2018 Town: CHAPMAN Trooper: CPL. MICHAUD Brief Synopsis: Cpl. Michaud responded to an abandoned residence in Chapman when a property maintenance company reported a significant amount of damage had been done. The home had been abandoned for a lengthy period of time and nearly all the windows and doors of the home were broken. The offenders went as far as removing some metal from a section of roof. The investigation is ongoing.

Incident Type: OUI Date: 7/28/2018 Town: HOULTON Trooper: TR. DUFF Brief Synopsis: Trooper Duff stopped a vehicle for speeding on the B Road in Houlton. During the stop, he suspected the female was impaired. After conducting Field Sobriety Testing the woman was arrested for OUI.

Incident Type: OUI Date: 7/29/2018 Town: HOULTON Trooper: TR. DUFF Brief Synopsis: Tr. Duff stopped a vehicle on Callaghan Road, Houlton, for a traffic infraction. During the stop, he suspected the male driver was impaired. After conducting Field Sobriety Testing the man was arrested for OUI and taken to the Aroostook County Jail.

Incident Type: ACCIDENT Date: 7/29/2018 Town: ST. FRANCIS Trooper: TR. CURTIN Brief Synopsis: Trooper Curtin charged a St. Francis teenager with Failing to Report a Crash and Leaving the Scene of a Crash. The crash occurred around midnight, however, the teen only reported the crash at approximately 4:30 AM. The vehicle crashed into a utility pole causing significant damage to both the vehicle and pole. He luckily was not injured in the crash.
