Gnocchi is not just a wonderful Italian dish, they're also a rock band hailing from Orono, Maine, that has earned a reputation for their lively performances and ability to cover various rock genres. The band comprises Ryan Conway on vocals, Austin Black on guitar, Benjamin Flanagan on bass and keys, and Reggie Kollman on drums.

In 2019, six-piece indie-soul group Midnight Breakfast was formed during their sophomore year in college. The band initially played cover songs and funk tunes but used the quarantine period to create their self-titled debut album, which was released in January 2021. The album features instrumental improvisation, long jams, and groovy melodies with "jazz-kissed vocals" that provide a stimulating and unforgettable performance.

Rigometrics is a new rock & roll band based in Portland, Maine, formed in May 2021. The band delivers raw, high-energy rock & roll music, which aims to inspire and encourage self-reflection, acceptance, and positive change, while also creating an enjoyable musical experience. They explore multiple rock genres to challenge and broaden listeners' perception of contemporary rock.

GoldenOak's music is deeply rooted in Maine's natural landscape, and their songs flow like a stream, with an original and grounded direction. The band features siblings Zak and Lena Kendall on vocals, with rich folk-influenced harmony. Their latest album, "Room to Grow," reflects on the emotional and physical impact of the climate crisis and has helped the band grow a steady and loyal fanbase. Rounding out the band are up-right bassist Mike Knowles and drummer Jackson Cromwell.

The Maine Indie Music Showcase promises to be a fun night for independent artists from Maine. Folks, don't miss your chance to support the Maine indie music scene live at the Collins Center for the Arts on Saturday, April 15th.
