Maine Humorist Tim Sample at Houlton Community Arts Center

The Houlton Arts Centers' Comedy Series continues with Maine Humorist, author and artist Tim Sample. He will be on stage at the Houlton Community Arts Center Saturday, May 11th, 2013.

Tim Sample's albums, DVDs and videos have sold over a million copies and he's often considered to be New England's premier native humorist. Sample can also add writer and illustrator of over a dozen books to his repertoire. On top of all that, over the years Sample has brought his brand of Maine humor to the CBS News Sunday Morning as a correspondent.

The Houlton Community Arts Center Council continues their effort to raise funds for an expansion of visual and performing arts space that will allow for complete housing of music, theater, dance, and art at Houlton High School for all to use and enjoy. The revenue generated from Tim’s performance will be added to the building fund and further used to support continued programming to the benefit of the greater Houlton community.

Performance time is 7:00pm and the doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $ 15 in advance and $20 at the door and can be purchased online at http://timsample.eventbrite.com or at Yorks Books in Houlton, ME.
