Bitter Crossing is a finalist for the 2015 Maine Literary Awards in the category Crime Fiction.

His second book, released June 8th, continues the story line involving U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agent Peyton Cote. Peyton Cote is a U.S. Customs and Border Protections agent and a single mom. She struggles to balance the two. A unique aspect of these novels is that they are set in northern Maine's Aroostook County.
