[TSM Photo][/caption]Matt Turnbull was an employee here at Townsquare Media who died in a tragic car accident a year ago last November. He was also a great friend. His parents, Lynn and Alan, along with his family created the scholarship fund as 'legacy to Matthew.' Scholarships are awarded to two students enrolled in a Trade and Technical Occupations program who demonstrate financial need—one from Caribou High School and the other from anywhere in Aroostook County.

This past fundraiser, featuring a silent auction and performance from Matt's band Common Crossing, raised $10,500, which will be added to the money raised from last year and will serve as a reminder of how Matthew lived his life: always with a smile on his face and always ready to help. Further donations can be made to the Livin’ the Dream Scholarship fund through the NMCC Foundation.
