If you haven't seen it already, then get set, because the biggest retail store in Maine is testing a way to save you lots of time. So, hang in there!

Walmart is now testing handy kiosks in their stores to save shoppers lots of time in about 31 states. If it's successful, we could see this service here in Maine.

Here is how it works.

If you go to www.walmart.com, they'll give you all the instructions you need in order for you to place your orders in advance.

Once your order is placed, Walmart associates will gather all of your ordered goods together for pick up at your convenience. The kiosks are located outside the store and you can pick up your items 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

According to store manager John Billings, of the Presque Isle Walmart, there has been no definite commitment to the store here, as Walmart is still testing them out in other states.

We're hopeful that the kiosks will be a success and that Presque Isle will see one soon.
