Deja Vu! Hang in there Maine, we will get through this!

It has been a wild beginning this Wednesday, conjuring up some rather unpleasant memories of just a few short weeks ago.

As you can see from a Dysart's Facebook post from yesterday, trucks full of line workers are ready to get to work, when the worst of this hits us.

With snow, heavy rains and pounding winds, a good chuck of the state of Maine could possibly descended into darkness later today, and let's not forget the potential for downed tree limbs, and all various sorts of debris. One can only hope that it doesn't happen on the scale of the last time this all went down a few weeks back.

Should thousands of us lose power today, crews from Versant and Central Maine Power, will begin the long task of restoration. Keep in mind, that if the winds get too dangerous, they won't send workers up there, for safety reasons.

You can keep up to date on what your situation is regarding your electricity, by taking an up to minute look at the outage and restoration maps from both Versant, and Central Maine Power.

Stay safe, patient, and let these hard working folks get out there and do their job, and fingers crossed, the lights will be on, dinner will be on the stove tonight, and Netflix will be streaming in no time!
