Well, they had to be running away from something, right? Hot on the heels of casting its leads, Marvel’s Hulu Runaways prepares to embarrass them all with a cast full of “Pride”-ful parents, including Buffy breakout James Marsters, 24 and Alias alum, and a whole host of others.

Where previously Marvel announced the six young actors playing our core heroes, TVLine debuted their nefarious parents, who make up “The Pride” of the show’s core villains. So reads the full roster of names, which helpfully includes which Runaways belong to which parents:

Marsters and [Ever] Carradine play Victor and Janet Stein, parents to Chase (Gregg Sulkin). He’s an engineering genius who has lofty expectations for his son — and when they aren’t met, retribution can be fierce. She’s a perfect PTA mom harboring a brilliant mind of her own, and longs for more from her life.

[Annnie] Wersching and [Kip] Pardue play as Leslie and Frank Dean, parents to Carolina (Virginia Gardner). She’s a poised and skilled leader whose charisma draws in devoted allies and followers. He’s a former teen star who rode a short-lived movie career and is now teeming with insecurity.

[Kevin] Weisman and [Brigid ] Brannagh play Dale and Stacey Yorkes, parents to Gert (Ariela Barer). He’s a bioengineer whose deep love for his family oftentimes falls short at knowing the right things to say to his daughter. Stacey, too, is a bioengineer, and utilizes a progressive approach to her parenting style.

[Ryan] Sands and [Angel] Parker play Geoffrey and Catherine Wilder, parents to Alex (Rhenzy Feliz). He’s a hulking presence who can effortlessly shift from approachable father to intimidating strategist; she’s a successful lawyer, is deliberate and calculating in both her words and actions.

[Brittany] Ishibashi and [James] Yaegashi play Tina and Robert Minoru, parents to Nico (Lyrica Okano). She’s a perfectionist “tiger mom,” as well as a brilliant innovator and ruthless CEO; he is a gentle and brilliant beta, the Woz to his wife’s Jobs.

Iron Fist writer Tamara Becher will have a hand in the new Hulu series, described as “the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe – their parents.” The original Runaways was created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona in 2003, chronicling a group of teenagers as they discover their parents belong to an evil crime organization. Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will helm the series overall.

Marvel has been looking to adapt The Runaways as a feature since at least 2008, but will Hulu’s cast make for effective villainy? Stay tuned for the latest details.
