High School Basketball Prelims [UPDATE]

Aroostook County high school basketball enters the post-season this week with preliminary match-ups to decide the final teams in the quarterfinals. Here's the updated schedule:

Wednesday, February 15

Girls’ Class D Prelims

#9 Katahdin at #8 Jonesport-Beals at 1 p.m.

Boys Class B Prelims

#10 Houlton at #7 Belfast has been moved up to 4 p.m. due to snow in the forecast tonight.

#5 Presque Isle vs #12 Ellsworth has been postponed until Thursday, Feb. 16, @ 6:30 p.m. at Presque Isle High School.

#9 Fort Kent at #8 Woodland has been moved up to 4 p.m. due to snow in the forecast.

#9 Ashland at #8 Greater Houlton Christian Academy at 6 p.m.

Ashland girls advance to the quarterfinals with a 54-38 over East Grand
