Xander Bogaerts was 4-6 with 2 homers and 4 RBIs. He now has matched his career hight with 23 homers.

Rafael Devers was 2-5 with a double and a homer, driving in 2 runs. He too has matched a career high with 21 homers.

Mookie Betts was 2-4 with 2 runs batted in, and now has a on-base streak of 22 games, the longest active on in the American League.

Michael Chavis was 2-4, coming in after Brock Holt was ejected arguing balls and strikes. Chavis had 2 doubles and 2 runs batted in. He leads all American League rookies with 54 runs batted in.

Andrew Benintendi and Jackie Bradely Jr. each had 3 hits, with Bradley Jr. having 2 doubles.

Rick Porcello threw 6 innings, picking up the win. He struck out 5, allowing 6 hits and 3 runs. He threw 47 pitches in the 2nd inning, but just 65 pitches in the other 5 innings.

The win puts the Red Sox 10 games out of 1st place and just 1 game behind in the Wild Card. The Red Sox and Yankees play the 2nd game of the 4 game series Friday night with the pregame starting at 6:10 and 1st pitch at 7:10.
