It's as fun as it is thrilling and there are plenty of places in Maine where you can jump off a bridge or a big rock, some places even set you up with a rope swing. There are also places where it is illegal to jump due to unsafe conditions. Maybe the water isn't deep enough for a safe landing, or simply the land owner doesn't want anyone to get hurt.
