Here’s a Halloween Costume Idea – ‘Snowman’

So over the weekend I was witness to some of the dreaded white stuff falling listlessly from the Heavens.  Only a sputter here and there so I wasn't concerned; it's normal for our area this time of year. 

Today, as I'm looking out the front door here at work it's falling in large white chunks.  On top of that, it's Monday.  Could it be a white Halloween?  Probably not.  As County folk, why do we get so worked up about a little snow?  Well, because it seems to come earlier every year.  Notice I said 'seems,' because it's really not true.  I think the last few years the snow has come so late that those that depend on it for business purposes have been affected.

It's supposed to clear up for the rest of the week but that doesn't change the fact that it's snowing right now.  Early snow just makes our already long winter seem longer.  I like winter, for about two months.  I have friends that would love to have winter all year round.  They're obviously suffering from Vitamin D deficiency.  We don't talk much.
