Good news has come to the Fort Kent Community High School! The high school is welcoming a new varsity coach after the former coach resigned.

Oniqueky Samuels will be the next Varsity Boys Soccer Coach at Fort Kent Community High School. This comes about after the resignation of Tim Desjardins this winter, after being with the team for 13 seasons.

According to Eric Werntgen, Physical Education Instructor for Fort Kent Community High School, Samuels is no stranger. He has been the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Maine at For Kent for the last few seasons. Samuels also coached the Wisdom of St. Agatha Varsity Boys during the 2015 season.

Samuels also had a great career as a defensive back at UMFK in which he helped lead the Bengals to the 2010 National Championships.

The Warrior Boys are coming off a 9-4-1 season in which they finished in 5th place and lost at Houlton in a Class C Quarterfinal. The team lost just one senior this season, Nathan Michaud.
