Fort Fairfield Police Department Issues Notice to the Public
The Fort Fairfield Police Department advises the public that they have been contacted by authorities from Spokane, Washington and the Maine Sex Offender Registry in reference to a man by the name of Darrell Baham.
According to Chief Bill Campbell, Baham has ties to the Fort Fairfield area and has several warrants out for his arrest for failing to register as a sex offender. Police do not believe Baham to be in the area at this time, but would like to advise the public as a precautionary measure. There is no cause for alarm.
Police say the information suggests that Baham may be living in the Southwest United States presently.
Campbell says, "We are posting this picture and asking the public to keep an eye out for him and if he is spotted to give us a call here at the PD. The State of Washington would really like to have him back and we would be more than happy to oblige."
Baham is described as 5' 7", 173 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He has several tattoos on his chest and both arms.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Baham, you're asked to call the Fort Fairfield Police Department at 473-7831.
