It’s the little touches that help make a world feel authentic, which is why the Harry Potter universe has always stood above its peers. There’s a sense of history to the schools in this universe; you never feel like these characters are the first to experience any part of the world of wizards, only the latest in a chain of events and people that existed long before they arrived. And while this new deleted scene from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them may not exactly move the plot along, it certainly makes the universe feel more cozy for all who jump in.

In the clip, after a gentle competition as to whose school was best, both Tina and Queenie break into their beloved school song from Ilvermorny School. As Heroic Hollywood notes, the school anthem was written by actress Alison Sudol, a former musician who has only focused on acting within the past few years. Under the moniker A Fine Frenzy, Sudol released three studio albums and toured the world between 2007 and 2013 before retiring from music. “A few years ago I put A Fine Frenzy to bed,” Sudol told Ladygunn in 2015, making the Ilvermorny School song kinda-sorta a return to form for the talented actress. Consider Fantastic Beasts an exciting day for the small cross section of fans who love both Harry Potter and A Fine Frenzy.

Here is the full plot synopsis for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them:

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, and Ezra Miller. As the Heroic Hollywood article notes, the Blu-ray and DVD will both be available on March 28.
