Make sure that your house address is not showing in the background when taking a photo of your child. Especially when you live in a small town, it can be easier for a predator to figure out where you live.
As with your home, it's not a good idea to have the address or the outside of the school in the photo with your child. Now you've shown them what school your child attends if you put that on social media.
A photo of your child next to the bus isn't a huge deal, but if the bus number is showing, that gives predator's an idea on where that bus will be which can lead them to your child.
I don't know about you, but I don't post many photos of my offspring on social media. I also don't want my child posted on someone else's social media pages with their child. Please be mindful of other kids in the photos taken with your child. Always check it out with the other child's parent before doing so.
