9-year-old Michael Bruce from Fort Fairfield had a golf day to remember on Sunday. He competed at Augusta National Golf Course, site of The Masters, in the Drive, Chip & Putt National Championship.

Bruce finished in 10th place in his 7-9 year-old agegroup with a total score of 10. (Drive: 1 point, Chip: 1 point, Putt: 8 Points)

He plays golf at the Aroostook Vally Country Club in Fort Fairfield. Bruce had to qualify at three levels to earn the trip to Augusta National.

The winner in the 7-9 year-old boys division was Carter Gaede from Manhatten Beach, California. His total score was 25. And, he spoke with the Golf Channel's Charlie Rymer...
