Officials say Ronald Trecartin was sentenced in federal court in Bangor on Tuesday. A judge also ordered him to serve 20 years of supervised release once he has been released from prison.

Trecartin pleaded guilty to the charges last November.

Investigators searched Trecartin's home in the fall of 2012 and seized two computers and a handheld video game console with images of child pornography.

Trecartin was previously convicted in Houlton for exposing himself to a group of children.
