The Boston Bruins scored four goals on their first 13 shots and went on to beat St. Louis 5-3 Tuesday night. A nice road win against a good team allowing B's fans to take a breath after some bumpy games.

Frank Vatrano, Brandon Carlo, Brad Marchand and Torey Krug scored goals and it was 4-0 early in the second period.

The Blues scored the next two goals to make it 4-2 but Marchand got an empty net goal to seal the deal.

Tuukka Rask made 14 saves in net for the win.

On the down side for the Bruins, defensemen Adam McQuaid and Colin Miller left the game with injuries.

The B's improve to 22-17-5. That good for second place in their division but also a little misleading because they have played mores games than several of the teams in that division.
