The Ottawa Senators beat Boston goalie Tuukka Rask twice in the first four minutes of the game and Bruins could never fully recover. The result, a 4-2 loss to the team they are trying to catch in their division.

The Bruins got to within a goal on two occasions on Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand goals but could never get the game tied.

The Senators clogged the neutral zone all night and frustrated the B's.

Both Rask and Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson made 25 saves.

The Bruins fall to 34-26-6.
