Body Identified As Missing 29-Year-Old Maine Woman
GARDINER, Maine (AP) — The Maine Medical Examiner's Office says it has identified a body found in Augusta as the remains of a 29-year-old woman who disappeared almost two years ago.
The office says it used dental records to identify 29-year-old Megan Gregory, of Gardiner. Gregory's body was found on April 7 in a dense, wooded area near a bridge in Maine's capital city.
WMTW-TV reports police have not found evidence that suggest Gregory's death was suspicious. However, an official cause of Gregory's death has not yet been determined by authorities.
