
Bangor After Dark: Stephen King’s Christine on the Cemetery Screen
Stephen King’s killer car returns for a one-night-only outdoor screening at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Wednesday, August 20th at 8 pm, The Bangor Historical Society presents a movie night after dark, at the historic Mount Hope Cemetery, in Bangor.
This year's feature film is Stephen King's classic 1983 horror flick, "Christine"
A teen restores a 1958 Plymouth Fury with a dark past. As his personality changes, those around him begin to die—because Christine isn’t just a car. She’s alive… and possessive.
Get into the eerie atmosphere of one of Bangor's most iconic locations, where Stephen King himself found inspiration for his chilling stories.

Gates open at 6:30 PM

Mount Hope Cemetery, 1048 State Street, Bangor
Admission:
Members get first access starting Tuesday, July 22 at 1 p.m.
General public sales begin Thursday, July 24 at 1 p.m., via a link that will appear on the Bangor Historical Society’s website
Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
What you can bring:
You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, seating is not provided.
Concession Sales:
There will be a variety of delicious refreshments and snacks available for purchase throughout the evening. Treat yourself to popcorn, candy, and beverages!
Transportation:
Parking for the event is located at United Technologies Center, 200 Hogan Road in Bangor. Buses will be available to transport you to your car.
Pets:
Bangor Historical Society asks that you keep pets at home and that no outside beverages or food are allowed at the event.
Rules:
Smoking, consuming alcohol, and drug use is prohibited on cemetery grounds. Those found in violation will be removed from the movie with no refunds!
