Dr Beach has been reviewing, evaluating, and rating beaches for over 30 years. Dr Beach released their list of the top 10 most beautiful beach in 2025 and Coast Guard Beach in Eastham, Massachusetts, was the only New England Beach to make the list and it came in at #10.

A publication called Wallethub conducted a survey to uncover the best and worst state economies out of the 50 U.S states to determine which states are pulling the most weight. Massachusetts came in as the #1 state economy in the U.S because it has the second-most invention patents per capita, third-highest share of STEM professionals, and the highest percentage of firms that are listed on the Technology Fast 500 list.

A publication called retirementliving.com named New Hampshire the #1 retirement spot in the country. New Hampshire's varying weather allows residents to participate in a plethora of outdoor activities year-round. Also, more than 20% of New Hampshire residents are 65 and older so therefore seniors will have little issue building a network of retirement-age friends with similar interests.

Nesting season is upon us in New Hampshire! Expect to see many of these shelled friends move from wetlands to thei nesting sites so please "brake for turtles" if it is safe to do so.

Wallethub conducted a study to find 2025's best cities for hockey in the U.S for fans. Boston came in at #1. This is not surprising as the Boston Bruins have the most regular season wins in NHL history. The Bruins have also won 20 division titles and have taken home six Stanley Cups, giving Boston the third-most of any city. Also the Boston Bruins are the second-most valuable NHL team, worth $2.7 billion, (holy guacamole!) and they have the third-most engaged fans on social media.

To help job seekers find the best summer employment opportunities, WalletHub compared more than 180 markets in the U.S. across 21 key metrics including median income of part-time workers to the availability of summer jobs to the commuter-friendliness of jobs. Three of the top 20 cities are in New England.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation ranked the top 100 cities in America in terms of how bad allergies are in those cities. They based their list on three main categories: Pollen counts, Sales of allergy meds and How easy it is to get an appointment with an allergy specialist.
