There has been so much talk about the 'Affordable' Care Act lately, so much so that it was one of the stumbling blocks that helped shut down our government.  One side considers it the best thing going while the other says it's the devil.  Just how 'affordable' is it?  Now you can find out.

By plugging in the numbers at this link, you'll be able to find out just how much your new healthcare premiums will be.  That is, of course, if you don't have insurance provided to you by your employer.  If you do, well then your employer's costs can be calculated by using the same link.  Either way, it ain't pretty.  I think this must be what Nancy Pelosi meant by 'we have to pass it so we can see what's in it.'

And remember, the state of Maine opted not to take part so you will receive no subsidy.  Funny how math always catches up to us.
