83-Year-Old Shiretown Man Hurt in Southern Aroostook Accident
The Aroostook County Sheriff's Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash that happened on US 1 in Littleton just before 2:30 on Saturday afternoon.

Police say 83-year-old Thomas Vasco of Houlton was traveling south when his 2006 Kia Spectra drifted right into the ditch. The car struck a culvert, vaulted into the air, rolled over and ended up on its roof.
Vasco was taken to Houlton Regional Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
