The thaw and melt we experienced in Maine last week was a cruel, awful tease of the spring weather to come. Unfortunately we need to plow through (ahem, excuse the pun) a Nor'easter tomorrow and the subsequent clean up that always follows 12+ inches of snow. All I can do is close my eyes and wish really hard for a fast-forward button that will push me into all six of the following photos.

Yeah, I know, winter is part of Maine life and I think I handle it fairly well, but I can't help but daydream of the warmer snowless weather that awaits us as the season turns.
