3rd Annual Rise Above Fest Pre-Sale Code

Get ready! The 3rd Annual Rise Above Fest is coming to Bangor again this coming Spring in support of suicide prevention and mental illness.

Concert-goers are in for a real treat! This show is going to feature bands: Godsmack, Seether, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Papa Roach, All That Remains, Butcher Babies and more to be announced with proceeds going to SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education).

The festival will return to Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, ME on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 as part of the 2015 Machias Savings Bank Concert Series!

The festival’s name is taken from the song, “Rise Above This,” which Seether front man Shaun Morgan wrote as a message to his brother. His brother took his own life seven years ago before he ever got a chance to hear it and it was that experience that brought about the creation of Rise Above Fest.

The inaugural event was held over Labor Day weekend 2012 in Gilford, NH and raised nearly $20k for the New Hampshire chapter of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). The 2014 festival was held in Bangor, ME and raised approximately $50k for SAVE. Past Rise Above Fest performers include Avenged Sevenfold, Hellyeah, Buckcherry, Devour the Day, Kyng, Puddle of Mudd, Black Stone Cherry and many more.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, December 12th at 10 a.m.
