She was one of three people in a vehicle that left Chemin Labrie at around 7:45 p.m. on August 11. Another 14-year-old girl was also airlifted to hospital in Halifax and is believed to be in stable condition. An 18-year-old male, who was the driver of the vehicle, was also taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Saint-Quentin RCMP responded to the crash and the preliminary investigation indicates that speed may have been a contributing factor when the car left the road and rolled several times.

The investigation is ongoing.
